Sara Rubalcava, Principal
An innovative and creative leader, Ms. Rubalcava has been in the Communications Industry for over twenty-five years working across a wide spectrum of industries including corporate, non-profit, healthcare, radio, advertising agencies, and governmental agencies. Taking from her passion for branding and communications, Ms. Rubalcava has evolved as a transformational speaker and workshop facilitator empowering others to reach their highest potential and best personal brand in all areas of their life. She has assisted organizations in connecting employee’s talent to mission and vision while providing the necessary tools that assist employees in enhancing their overall skill set. She is a professional who can get things done efficiently and effectively while building meaningful relationships within teams, colleagues, community, and stakeholders. She is passionate about social impact and has a natural inclination toward empowering special populations.
Formerly Ms. Rubalcava served as the Marketing Communications & Community Outreach Director at Adventist Health White Memorial Medical Center for six years where she managed the internal and external advertising to promote new and existing service lines utilizing TV commercials, radio, social media, print advertising, community-based events, and health fairs. Additionally, her functions included serving as a media spokesperson and as the editor and creative writer of hospital, community, employee, and physician newsletters. Her former experience includes working at La Agencia De Orci Advertising Agency managing various accounts as the Senior Account Executive and serving as the Director of Marketing and Promotions for three top Spanish language radio stations in Los Angeles and Sacramento.
Ms. Rubalcava is often invited to speak on issues that range from community, enhancing strategies and skills for the entrepreneur, self-development, professional-development, empowerment, and Time Management. She has participated as a guest lecturer at the USC Marshal School of Business, the UCLA Anderson School of Management, and the National Latina Business Women Association’s (NLBWA-LA) Business Management Academy.
Ms. Rubalcava a UCLA alumna, an HLI alumna, and an alumna of the Latina Global Executive Leadership Program is an active leader in several non-profit boards, advisory, and committees. She is a native of Southern California and is fully bilingual and bicultural and proudly resides in Pasadena, CA. She has been recognized by our community with numerous awards and is a sought-after speaker.
